2nd slot. Morning session. REBECA by EURAXESS mentoring training for mentors

We offer a 3-hour voluntary training for mentors to get a deeper understanding on mentoring. In this training, we will deal with the relationship between mentee and mentor and the limits of the mentoring relationship, important skills needed to have effective mentoring, different mentoring styles, and basic concepts to understand the advancement of careers and goal setting.

Learning of some concepts is based on practices, so we strongly suggest connecting from a computer and have good internet connection.

• Through mutual and interactive, participants will learn:
• To become more aware and practice key relational competences for mentoring: perspective training, open questioning, and active listening.
• To become aware of different roles that mentors can take and what we are more inclined to use.
• Key concepts of mentoring relationship and establishing the limits between personal and professional life.
• Basic concepts of career planning and the blocks for advancement
