• How can you build lasting professional relationships?
• How to define yourself at a professional level and communicate your value? What is your personal brand strategy online?

This workshop will address networking for scientists, discussing how to do it online. The pros and cons of using social networks in professional contexts will also be explored. The workshop will combine individual work with teamwork to learn practical tools that enhance personal branding, increase professional network, and leverage non-academic professional networks such as LinkedIn.

This training is voluntary. Nevertheless, to calculate the resources for the trainer, we need interested mentees to register.

Trainer: Manolo Castellano, "Talento Científico" (Scientific Talent). After fifteen years as a research professional, Manolo made a career transition towards entrepreneurship and consulting, he founded Scientific Talent, a talent consulting firm and boutique recruiting agency specializing in scientific and technical profiles and doctoral candidates for small and medium-sized enterprises. Manolo has conducted numerous seminars and workshops on employability and entrepreneurship for over 3000 scientists in more than 50 public and private institutions internationally.
