Between September 28th and 29th 2017, Universidad de Granada and Agencia Andaluza del Conocimiento organized an ERA Career Day under the umbrella of EURAXESS to inform researchers and last year university students about research career opportunities, funding programmes and the EURAXESS initiative.
Along the entire event, intersectoral mobility and collaboration between academia and industry was present as part of the research career possibilities. Furthermore, several training workshops were organized for the participants to around entrepreneurship, public speaking and the preparation of non-academic CVs and interviews
International mobility was also a key topic in the agenda, not only by informing about the EURAXESS initiative and its portal, but also by presenting the Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions, as well as national funding opportunities which include international mobility.
Finally, several researchers were invited to share with the audience their international and intersectoral experiences.

About EUESCADA
This meeting was the first of the five planned in 2017 under the EUESCADA Project (GA 741373), funded by Horizon 2020 and coordinated by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) under the auspices of Framework of the EURAXESS network.
The objectives of this conference are to offer as much information as possible to university students and researchers in Spain who are evaluating their professional options in Europe and to present the skills and the most valued capabilities of researchers in the labor market to increase their employability and improve their planning in the development of their professional career.
